Product recalls and safety notices are common and it is crucial that action is taken to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.

Registering your equipment warranty is the best way to ensure notification of any safety issues that arise in the future. But if you don’t buy brand new the chances are you won’t find out first hand about any product safety issues.

It is prudent to therefore schedule time to perform manual searches for any product recalls at regular intervals, regardless of where and when it was purchased.
