Do you get your equipment serviced by an external company?

Do you know for certain that you are using someone who is approved by the equipment manufacturer?

If not, you could be invalidating your warranty. There is also no guarantee the company servicing the equipment is doing it in line with manufacturer recommendations and with the recommended products.

Ask the service company for proof that they are approved by the manufacturers of ALL the equipment they will be servicing, and for a method statement of work for each piece of equipment, so you can check this against the manufacturers’ guidelines.

It may also be prudent to contact the manufacturers themselves to ask which service companies they have approved (if any).

If you look after your equipment in-house, make sure you follow the guidelines from the manufacturers at all times when maintaining and servicing equipment.
